Queen Charlotte’s Ball celebrated its 235th anniversary this year in the State Apartments and Orangery of Kensington Palace. One hundred and fifty VIP guests attended to enjoy the traditional Procession of the 2015 debutantes escorted by their fathers in the magnificent King’s Chamber of the Palace and greeted by London Season Patrons H.H. Princess Olga Romanoff and the Duke and Duchess of Somerset. Dinner took place in the King’s Drawing Room and the Cupola Room with royal caterers Ampersand, headed by Jessica Stefan and her Michelin chefs who provided a sumptuous repast accompanied by Grand Cru Chablis and champagne from the vineyards of Jean-Marc Brocard, France who wonderfully donated the fine wines for the evening. Over the next twelve months, The London Season will be supporting Children with Cancer at their various events throughout the year. Details may be obtained from Jennie Hallam-Peel, Chairman.
